I am officially self-publishing my first book, Witches Darkness, the first book in the series! I am in a re-editing stage before publishing, but I will let it out immediately after all editing is done and it shall be released for your enjoyment! I hope all is well and that you all enjoy what I worked so hard to write! I will post a link to buy my book and where when it is finished, but between the editing, I am still working on Concealing the Dawn! I sincerely hope you all enjoy!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I'm still writing my books and trying to get the first one out there. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated right now! There has been a really bad winter storm here the past couple of days and regardless of my cold urticaria, I bundled up and went sledding with two of my friends down my hill-of-a-driveway that was mostly ice rather than snow. We had a blast and I only reacted a bit once I started to warm up. The sled, I might add, wasn't really a sled and it might have been totally dangerous of us, but we used a thick plastic toybox lid and it worked quite well. Next year, maybe I can get a real sled and all three of us can go together. This was a great weekend.
If you knew me, what I'm about to say wouldn't surprise you at all because, well, I'm just that strange. On Halloween, I went trick-or-treating with Sass and Niece and Nephew. It was really fun, but suddenly I noticed my arm broke out in these huge, itchy and burning hives and I could feel more along my thighs and my lower back. Sass said it might just be my body's strange way of reacting to wind burn, because it was majorly windy then and, as I said, I'm just that strange. But the itchiness never left, and the hives continued on and off whenever I was outside, or even just cold. So I decided to look up "cold allergy" even though I didn't believe you could actually be allergic to the cold. But lo and behold, you can and I obviously was. The symptoms were the same as mine, and I noticed that the hives and itching began to lessen as I would warm up. The condition is Cold Urticaria, and I suggest for anyone to learn about it. There is a Cold Urticaria Foundation and they have a facebook page. This disease is so rare that only 1 in 100,000 people get it in their lifetime. For some, it's hereditary, and for others they simply just develop it. There is very little known about Cold Urticaria and its origins, and there is no known cure yet.
For those who have never heard of such a thing wouldn't understand the constant battle or danger of this disease. I've been kept awake many nights since Halloween, even after taking my antihistamines because I began to break out in hives and the itching feeling is enough to drive me mad. My family constantly tells me to stop scratching because sometimes it's so bad I end up leaving long claw marks on my body, but they don't understand how uncomfortable it is. I've heard stories from people with this condition that sometimes their reactions were so bad that they began to go into shock, and that scares me. I haven't had that problem yet and I hope to never gain it. Many things are changing for me in the blink of an eye. I have to constantly wear warm clothes and I'm a naturally warm person, so it's hard to do that all of the time. I can't be out in the cold too long anymore, otherwise I'll have a reaction. I urge more people to learn about this condition, bring support to the ones that have it and donate all you can to help find a cure. It's not as simple as it sounds, trust me on this one. I'm allergic to the cold, and while my friends laugh at the irony that I was born in the Fall, it truly sucks and I would never wish this on anyone, even my worst enemy. Ever. A lot has been happening and I'm going to be really busy for a while. I'll try my best to update as things come up and I'll try my best to continue writing my books, but I will make no promises that there will be an even time stream. So wish me luck and I hope you've had a Wicked Weekend! :)
Money is really tight right now due to late checks so we're worried about the holidays that are fast approaching, I'm doing my best to find a well-paying job to help with the house, and to make things better, my computer is basically out of commission. I also have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for something that has been driving me crazy for over a month now that just seems to be getting worse as the days go by. A lot is going on, so I may be late posting for a while. I'm still trying my best to keep in touch with my books. Wish me luck.
I'm trying my best to stay positive and work through everything, but honestly, I can only do so much and considering no one will help me with anything when I'm not sure what to do but I get griped at it for anyway, I honestly don't know how much longer I can keep this up. I've been writing more to Concealing the Dawn, and I've been writing little fan stories on the side of my favorite shows. "Fanfics" as the internet calls them. It helps with inspiration. And while those are copyrighted and only the characters I create are mine, I wouldn't be able to sell them, even if I wanted to. Though, I may upload them somewhere for a free read sometime.
Lately, I've been more on the artistic visual creations route than my writing due to a slight slump. I get a little in at a time, and then I get stuck. But I work through it and let everything else flow out. Hopefully one day I'll get this second book done with and the first one finally published somewhere! Wish me luck! Okay, so my mother and I seem to have this issue of getting injured or sick at the same time. I managed to sprain my knee pretty bad by slipping down some rocks in our driveway and then my mother snapped what we think is a tendon or ligament in the opposite leg I had hurt mine and has been in a lot of pain since. So, on Halloween, no less, she has an appointment with an orthopedic doctor to take a look at it so it's been all hands on deck. My knee feels a bit better, with mainly only pain when I bend it or do extensive exercise with it.
A friend of my dad's hooked him up with this awesome bed that I will now be sleeping on after months of being on a board and a ton of blankets because the springs poked out of my old one and we had to toss it during our move and the fact we couldn't afford one right away because the cars kept breaking down. But this bed was relatively free and I love it! Could use a bit of a paint job to personalize it, but right now, I'm just happy my everywhere won't hurt anymore! Thank, you Daddy! I love you lots!
This new weebly update is not easy. I had to add a new title last time. If there is a double-title this time, then I'm fine, but last time it was pretty annoying. Oh well. Agent searching is beginning to take a toll on me and I'm exhausted. I need a 6-month vacation twice a year! With me?
Pros and Cons of PublishingI need to write a list of pros and cons of decisions involving the publishing of my book. If I self-publish, I'll probably give away a free paperback/hardback copy in a contest, but that's still up for debate. I've been having absolute zero luck with finding an agent, so my mother asked me what I wanted to do with the book. Honestly, I don't know. Can anyone help me out? An opinion of some sort would be very nice!
